FEE STRUCTURES

Fee Structures

For plaintiff cases, fees can be contingent, hourly or a combination thereof, as may be agreed to by the client and the firm. A counterclaim is a separate case against the plaintiff and must be defended. Client can choose their own defense counsel, or we can usually defend on an hourly basis.

For defense matters, rates are hourly, as it is difficult if not impossible to accurately guess how much time a case may take. That in many cases is beyond our control, as the opposite party may be litigious.

For business matters, some things are flat rate, but others are hourly.

All fees will be within the context of the Rules of the Georgia or Alabama Bar Associations.
